Out of Ground Pool and Trench

Beginning with a small underused garden, our Cottesloe clients wanted to transform this space into a highly liveable area that was an extension o their home in day and night. A small plunge pool with a central timber decking space was on the top of the list, as was a small grass space for their young child and dog. Clearing out some old walls and designing a slightly raised pool with a land moat to minimize visual pool fencing resulted in a successful linked space that is now used daily. The addition of a copper water feature into the pool adds a tranquil atmosphere to the space that is finished with quality stone pavements and cladding, a fully tiled pool and hard wearing thermally modified timber screens. A copper Robert Plumb outdoor shower also adds to the resort style feeling while the use of an electric heat pump extends the pool use into the fringe months of summer.
