Where the Ocean meets the Bush

Rural landscapes are always a pleasure to work on. They have their unique challenges that you rarely come across in built environments. Our clients brief included dealing with the complex sloping topography, reusing existing site boulders and balancing site proportions. 

Through the use of the recycled boulders on site, the manipulation of landscape and large generous spaces of grass and native planting we created a garden that this architecturally designed home sits within. A strong, resilient planting scheme was required to deal with water discharge, strong ocean winds and the cooler climate of Augusta.
